Established in 2001, Carlisle Gallery specializes in 19th-century through contemporary American and European art. International in scope, its inventory incorporates museum-quality works that primarily emphasize the painting and printmaking traditions. In the interest of advancing and supporting community artists, Carlisle Gallery also represents a number of significant local and regional artists working in a variety of media. Located near the campus of Auburn University in downtown Auburn, Alabama, the gallery is open by appointment.

Carlisle Gallery is an important source for private collectors and also works extensively with museum curators and art consultants. The gallery has placed more than 50 works in museum collections to date, and gallery artists have been included in major survey exhibitions and in film.

Owner Helen Baggett Carlisle brings more than forty years' experience in corporate consulting and fine art appraisals. She is available for insurance appraisals, absence bidding for clients, and collections consultation for families and corporations.
